Hi Mr. Dickerson, I purchased one of your Artist Proofs "Pearls" a 1999 protrait of a beautiful black woman dressed in white & grasping a handful of pearls. I've always loved this piece but do not have much information or history about the painting. I would very much like to know more, and where can I purchase more of your art work. Keep it Going....Michelle from Bay Area (SF, CA)

I live here in Raleigh,N.C the home of Jesse Helms, and I am a artists as well. Your art is some of the most beautiful works I have ever seen. I know it much have been the work of GOD for a black artist to do a portriait of dear old Jesse, because he was mean to us blacks here in N.C. I know old Jesse must be turning over in his grave. You are a great artist, but please don't do George Wallace(smile) My website is www.edbaxterartgallery.com. May GOD, continue to BLESS you to keep on turning out this wonderful art for years to come. As I said in "Contact Rene" I am very much impressed with your work and would like to purchase a piece or two. You're even more famous now that you did a magnificant portrait of Jesse Helms that "the ole South" loved.

As a self taught artist, you have excelled. Yours is a God given talent. A portrait of the late U.S. Senator Jesse Helms was unveiled last night. Of the portrait, Senator Helms' widow said, "He had that twinkle in his eye, and he captured it." My sister, an artist said eyes are a real challenge, but you rose to the occasion. As one of his constituents, I thank you for your excellent work.

Words can not describe the way I feel about Renee Dickerson's work. I have a work of Art painted by Renee Dickerson that I have just sat in a chair and looked at as if it was gracefully moving right before my eye's. I can't believe that I know him personally and that his soul is as artistic as his work. He has spoken to me and moved me to see an event in my life as I see his work.

Hi, Rene It's your sister, Marcia Taylor. Friends continue to be amazed at "Sarafina" which is proudly displayed in my living room. To know that their brother is the artist is an extra special treat. Looking forward to hosting a private show. Thanks, Marcia
